Storage
Edit config/config.storage.lua and restart yseries to apply changes. Existing phones are recalculated automatically; no database migration is needed.
Players can view usage in Settings > Storage on both operating systems. This currently counts the system allowance and installed app packages, including default apps and apps inside folders. Photos, videos, recordings, messages, contacts and downloaded wallpapers do not count yet.
Capacity per device
Config.Storage.Models sets capacity and system space for each model family, regardless of colour. These are the shipped defaults:
Change these entries inside the existing Config.Storage table. CapacityGB is total capacity; SystemGB is the portion occupied by the OS and bundled assets. Installed app packages are counted separately.
For an exact saved device type, add a Types entry inside the same table:
A type profile replaces its model profile. Omitted values fall back to DefaultCapacityGB and SystemGB, rather than inheriting the model's values.
Controls and app sizes
The other fields inside Config.Storage are:
Enabled(defaulttrue): whenfalse, removes installation limits and hides app-size labels in the store. The Storage screen remains available.EnforceAppInstalls(defaulttrue): set tofalseto show storage usage and app sizes without blocking installations. KeepEnabled = truefor this display-only mode.DefaultCapacityGB(default64) andSystemGB(default8): fallback values for profiles that omit capacity or system space.DefaultAppMB(default120) andDefaultGameMB(default500): allocations for apps or games without a size override. Unknown or removed app definitions use the app default.AppSizesMB: per-app overrides, keyed by the exact built-in or custom app key. For example, maps = 450allocates 450 MB to Maps andvoiceRecorder = 70allocates 70 MB to Recorder. Add custom app keys here too.
Sizes are configurable gameplay allocations, not measured resource downloads. GB and MB use decimal units: 1 GB = 1,000 MB.
With enforcement enabled, an installation that would exceed capacity is rejected, including installations through the InstallApp export. Uninstalling releases the app's allocation. Duplicate icons count once; moving apps between screens or folders does not change usage.
If you lower capacity below existing usage, the phone's data is preserved. Further storage growth is blocked while removing apps remains available.
