🏘️ Properties integration
The Properties integration lets players put slot machines, lucky wheels, and casino tables in their own properties. TGG Properties (nolag_properties) handles placement, ownership, approvals, and costs. Casino & Slots runs the games, pays out, and keeps the accounting.
Requirements
| Resource | Needed for |
|---|---|
tgg-slots-server | Slot machines, lucky wheels, and machine metrics |
nolag_properties | Placing machines in properties, approvals, costs, and permissions |
tgg-casino-tables (optional) | Table games such as roulette, blackjack, and poker |
Enable it
The integration is off by default in both scripts, because most servers don't run both. Nothing happens until you turn it on.
- Start both resources in
server.cfg. The order doesn't matter, because each script connects to the other once both are running.
Codeensure nolag_properties ensure tgg-slots-server ensure tgg-casino-tables # optional, for table games
- Casino & Slots: open the admin panel, go to Settings → Properties integration, turn on Enabled, and click Save changes.
- Properties: go to Settings → Integrations → Casino and turn on Casino integration.
Both changes apply right away. You don't need to restart either resource.
Connection status
The Properties integration card shows whether Properties is answering:
| Status | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Properties connected | Both sides are on and talking to each other. | Nothing. The card lists what the integration does. |
| Properties not detected | nolag_properties isn't running. | Start it (ensure nolag_properties), then click Check again. |
| Properties integration off | Properties is running, but its casino integration is turned off. | In Properties, open Settings → Integrations → Casino, turn on Casino integration, save, then click Check again. |
While the integration is off, the card shows links to this documentation and to the Properties store page.
What it does
- Owners place machines. Slot machines, wheels, and tables are placed like furniture from the property's Casino tab.
- Properties sets the rules. Approvals, machine limits, purchase and activation costs, upkeep, dealer salaries, and allowed games are all managed in the Properties settings. See the Properties casino guide for every option.
- Casino & Slots runs the games. Payouts, RTP, and accounting work the same as on your own venues.
Machine metrics
Property machines appear in the admin dashboard under Machine Metrics. Use the switch at the top of the page to change between Venues and Properties. The Properties view lists every machine placed in a property.
Turning it off
When you turn Enabled off and save, every property machine is detached right away. They can't be played or changed until it's back on. The machines and their data are kept, and turning it back on reconnects them. The same happens if nolag_properties stops.
Troubleshooting
- "Properties not detected" in the settings. Start
nolag_properties, then click Check again. - "Properties integration off" in the settings. Turn on Casino integration in the Properties settings, then click Check again.
- "Casino integration is disabled" in Properties. Turn on Enabled under Settings → Properties integration in the Casino & Slots admin panel and save.
- No table games in the furniture list. Start
tgg-casino-tables, and upgrade the property's Casino tier in Properties so tables are unlocked. - Machines are paused. This is handled by Properties. Check the property's internet and electricity, and any unpaid upkeep.
